Odyssey Energy (2009) Limited is owned, and directed by previous Odyssey Energy shareholders David Raven and Zoran Draca.

David Raven, BTEC, member AITPM
David originates from the UK where he gained extensive practical skills with automation and control systems. David holds a Higher National Certificate (BTEC) from Peterborough Technical College, and is a NZ Registered Electrician. He has over 20 years experience in industry, responsible for design, installation, commissioning and on going maintenance of plant in a wide range of industries. Since arriving in New Zealand ten years ago he has been extensively involved in street lighting and has also driven the generation and specialised water pumping projects. He has been a member of the AITPM (Australian Institute of Traffic Planners and Managers) since 2005 and has presented papers on street lighting design and management and performance monitoring.

Zoran Draca, BE.
Zoran originates from Yugoslavia, where he gained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Belgrade. He has 25 years of experience in a variety of disciplines within the electrical industry, including power network management and substation design, through to lighting consultancy, which has been a speciality since relocating to New Zealand fifteen years ago. Zoran spearheaded the development of the high speed lux measuring system and its’ integration with the SLIM/RAMM asset management system used by many local authorities. He has mentored master students through the Foundation for Research Science and Technology. Zoran is actively involved in street light management and street light design and further refinements of the high speed lux measuring system.
